Through active listening skills, you’ll learn how to clarify the caller’s issues and feelings and help them safety plan. You’ll be prepared to provide factual information about domestic violence services and offer well-researched, relevant referrals. This training is vital for new advocates and serves as a refresher course for seasoned advocates.
